What is Gumbo Fest 2027?

Gumbo Fest is an annual fundraising event to bring awareness to organ donations. Join us for an afternoon of Gumbo tasting created by some of the best Gumbo makers around!

This year's event will be held at a new location in the Creswell area on Sunday, May 23, 2027 from Noon until 4 P.M.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some great Gumbo and music!

Gumbo Fest 2027 is more than just a fundraising event - it's a celebration of creativity, community, and connection. Proceeds will benefit Donate Life NW.

Our Story

My husband was the recipient of a double lung transplant in December 2024. As he was recovering, we discussed ways that we could give back to the organizations that provided support during the process and also, bring awareness to organ donations. Gumbo Fest was created in 2025 and was a huge success.
